back out on another hunt today, we hunted an old farm house. Spent most of the day swinging and I found a lot of junk, so late in the day straight out in front of the house across the drive way I get a 77 on the m-6. LC? Yes #7 for the year. 1849 LC at 4 inches. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
Very happy with another copper, I worked my way around the old barn and picked up a 40 signal. Dig the hole and I see a coin in the hole. image.jpgimage.jpgit turns out to be a token. Oliver boutwell miller, troy n.y. I looked it up and there is 2 of them. Mine has no date and the other is dated 1863. Not a coin but still a great hunt. HH. image.jpgimage.jpg

You had another good day Tony. That large copper definitely overshadowed my crusty indian head..... it was nice to see one turn up, even if it wasn't me finding it.. :laughing7: and that token is awesome.. :notworthy: You're on a roll lately. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on the finds. Very nice finds....

Nice finds Tony (and fellow M6 user). Those large cents are always fun to find, but that token is really nice. Sounds like it's a rare one(??) My first find from the 1800's was an 1835 Hard Times Token for Walsh's General Store, Lansingburgh, NY just north of Troy. It's a common one but is still one of my favorite finds.

Keep hammering that site, looks like there should be more keepers there.

Nice token. I found one last year with the date.

Really coincidental you found a Walsh's token. I found one as well... several years ago.. and was describing it to the homeowner when Tony and I were showing him our finds for the day today. Mine was very beat up but If my memory serves me correctly it says "Speed The Plow It Feeds All". Those hard times tokens are always nice finds.

Two Great Finds! Nice LC & I really like those CW store tokens! Congrats :icon_thumleft:

I see Troy, NY on your token. Troy is only about 40-45 miles south of where I'm at. Pretty cool
