Civil war rivets off a cartridge case?

I dug these 2 right beside each other today on a property with a ton of history to it. I've dug a few period bullets and even a musket hammer out of it in the woods. I've taken heavily wooded also. Unfortunately, there's not enough leather remaining around your copper/brass rivets to be able to figure out what they were part of. They're very commonly used on leather horseharness, saddlery, saddlebags, "carriage/coach furnishings," leather luggage, etc., as well as a soldier's leather cartridge box OR belt OR knapsack straps, etc. Ones found in the US can date anytime from the Colonial Era up to today. Their basic form hasn't changed over many centuries.

I like to think all the ones I find are from or before the Civil War.
