Hidy to all . I have been following N. B. Forrest's raids on the M&O Rail Road For the last four years . From Houmboldt Tn. to Moscow, Ky. about 75 to 80 miles track . It will cover Homboldt , Trenton , Kenton , Middlesburg , Union City , Tn. & Moscow , Ky. I will try to put the stuff I have found on here the best way I know , so if I do it wrong , I am sorry . It will have to be in 3 or 4 post , that is the only way I know how to do it . But I hope yal enjoy what I have found so far . So here it is .

It seems you have done your homework well, those are some 'Great finds'.

Fossis............

Hello Nut, Been awhile since I saw you. You've done real well. Why not take me along sometime. I' ll close my eyes till we get there and then I'll hunt with one eye closed. lol. Again great finds.

:icon_thumleft: wow! that's some nice stuff.I have hunted ol' forrest around clifton and pulaski.I have worked up in that area and have a old book about johnsonville that needs to be read. thanks for the pics!

Can I join you? :tongue3: I've always wanted to hunt along old Civil War railroad lines! (My dream is to hunt along the route of the famous "Great Locomotive Chase"!) Good luck!

wow super finds!!!
Nice going

Nice CS plate! Have you thought about restoring it? Gentleman by the name leanord does fantastic work on CW. Relics. He can straighten that plate out to its original shape and still have that nice patina. That's a keeper for sure!

Can you comment a bit about your technique for hunting railroad raid locations? Where are you actually hunting in relation to the RR? Are these spots hard to pinpoint via research?
