no, I'm sorry to say it isn't. it is the tip off of a whiffletree. That style has a particular name to it, but I can't remember what it is at the moment.

I'm glad you posted that. Here is one that I dug a couple years ago in a plowed field. The only other thing that I found that day was a 1910 Barber Dime. I first thought it was a small bell missing the clapper. After cleaning it up, I tapped the side with a large nail head and it did not give off much of a good sound. Now, I know why. As you can see, mine has been hit by the plow a couple times.
