I have been working an area that was a n old civl war camp that was attacked in Hanover, VA. i have found numerous cannon ball frags and many, many buttons and bullets...........i found this last night and have no idea what it is. notice on toe of the pictures there is a green small object strip?? going through it on the inside and the outside. it looks like it was folded on purpose or maybe this was the result of some sort of impact
does anyone know what this could be?
i was thinking maybe a hinge? maybe i am holding it the wrong way to picture it unfolded??
