I found some sort of clasp i guess. If anyone can help me out on what it was used for, i'd appreciate it

The top one looks like a sardine can key. The swivel hook(when new) is still sold today.Bullet could be CW,although,I know here in this area of MO,muskets were used up to the late 30's,40's.Someone else can probably say what they are better than I.Good finds, regardless and good keepers.

warsaw, i found the items at a civil war camp site. But at the front of the property is a house built in the 1880's. So i'm not really sure if the iron relic is CW, but i know the bullet is

The clip is spring loaded, I would believe it is modern design. Looks as if it may be a sling clip off a rifle.

Ditto. Clip for a rifle sling. Not from CW era, IMO. Possibly some modern horse tack hardware, but I'm not familiar with horse tack.

I believe the first photo and the clip photo depict the same thing in different positions, and therefore the first photo is not of a can key.

The clip looks just like the ones that come on leather dog leashes. I don't think it was made last week, but I wouldn't guess it to be very old either. I have some that don't look much better than that after being left in the back of the truck and getting buried by rotting hay for a few months. A lot of reins use that kind of clip too.

Here's one similar. It look like it swivels though.
