Well after about 15 years of me hitting this camp very hard all was able to come up with today is this little button almost looks pewter. No marking just tiny little rays on front lip. No other signals today so I may wait and see if I get to plow the field up again this year.

That's an interesting little button! I have hunted many areas and have come up empty handed.. then go back later and find a few goodies. Funny how that works.

Yea I was pretty shocked.

Good news today. It's a camp/ battle site owned by the city. Is a park now and just got the go ahead on a piece of recently untouched soil that they have turned up on the outskirts of park that they are gonna put a road in.

I have a small 4-holed button just like that, and I wondered what the metal was. Pewter, eh? Are they all CW era?

Trouser buttons is what I found on Internet
