Civil War Buttons?

Hi Everyone
This is my first time on this forum and I am hoping someone can tell me if these buttons are from the civil war. They were both found at a site used to train civil war soldiers. The one with the eagle has J G & F Paris on the back, the one with the eagle on an anchor doesn't have anything on the back. I hope these pictures show up.
Thanks Kim - PA

The top one looks maybe WW1 or WW2 and the bottom one looks civil war, but there are just my guesses of the top of my head ;)

Great finds Kim. The first button is the Great Seal button which was used by general army service starting in 1902. There are many types that were used after that date. Your second button is a Marine corp button and could be older. It is hard to tell from the picture. Is it a one piece button or two pieces. Is there any makers mark on the back. This could help to ID it a little bit better. Congrats...Lance
