Can you tell me if this is a civil war button. or if not, what it is. obviously it's a button. but i don't know anything about it. on the back it has the words, Attleboro Falls. D. evans co. thank you for anyhelp.

Similar to a Staff button, but the circle with the stars has me stumped. Can't find a picture of that one.

PBK is right, it is a "Great Seal" button. It was placed in service in 1902.
