It is a Union Artillery Button,Can we see a pic of the back.Is it a one piece button or
a two piece button.If it is a one piece it is pre CW era.
As posted in today finds a very nice button.

Not for sure about your backmark,for sure it is a Union Artillery Button,NICE FIND :thumbsup:
HORSTMANN / PHILADELPHIA-1893-1935,However I thought that it was older than that by the
way the eagles wings are shaped.

After looking at the backmark more I think that it reads Horstman & Son/Philad.Which makes it
a CW era button.
