Civil War bullets ???

What kind of bullets are these ? Found another rivet too, but it looks different than the last one is a lot bulkier.

kinda looks like the first one might be a 54 cal. but i am not positive.

Thanks, appears to be a Colt .36 caliber pistol bullet.

Yep I have some... they're drops from a revolver... either Cavalry or an officer...

Where'd you find them?

that rivet may be from a saddle or saddle bag if it's real thick...

Found them on a site I thought may pan out in central missouri. Went and looked some more today and only came out with shotgun brass People had found bullets in the same area in the past while planting gardens. Problem is, the best places to look are all now covered with industrial buildings and parking lots. I have to look about 200 yards off the road just to get to any open ground.

Got one more place to look in the fall when the weeds and grass dies down. They had scrapped about a foot off the ground in the area about the size of a couple football fields for drainage. All that dirt is piled up on one end of the property I have permission to hunt. I am afraid all the good stuff will be at the bottom of these huge dirt hills though It looks like a good foot or more has been scrapped away.
