I recently came back from a cross-country trip to seek medical help for my brain damage that I'm dying from. Unfortunately there is no help for hope but while in Mobile Alabama I did find this Civil War bullet just wondering if anyone knew anything more about it I love history.<br />

looks like common civil war three ringer

What kind of gun did come from and what battle do you think it could have been used in if it's from Mobile Alabama area

Most were .58 cal. and fired from a rifled musket. Yours appears to be unfired. Nice find!

OMG , I had no idea do you have any idea as far as the approximate age or the battle it would have been used in and I found it up there near Mobile Alabama? Or the approximate value

Hey arik1912!! We use to find a lot of Civil War relics in the Spanish Fort area!! Cannon balls, Bullets, etc. Years ago people had cannon balls stacked in their front yards!! Anyway, GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

Thanks Verde

IMO
It's worth $2-$5 Depending on the buyer or if you dug it up (worth more 'Sentimental Value')

Also IMO looks Dropped & Maybe a water Find ? Unless the White patina has been Scrubbed off.

I don't know nothing about the Mobile Areas Civil War History (except Spanish Fort)..150 years old Give or take a year or 2.

I Pray you get Better. & Try to keep a positive attitude.

Welcome to T-Net. There was some pretty big battles there and you have a nice piece of it. Probably fell out of a soldiers pouch maybe as he was reloading and firing his gun.
Here are some links to a little of what was going on there.

Fort Blakeley - Last battle of the Civil War

Hope that you are doing well and a prayer is sent your way.
