Did a little research and found out its an H clip cartridge belt buckle, Spanish American war/Indian war era, makes sense General Custer's 7th calvary was in this area. Now I need to get it appraised

Infantry belt buckle, cavalry used thinner belts. It is a VERY cool find but will be nowhere near the value of a CW buckle.

I just saw the same buckle in my book last night and now to see it posted is so cool damn really cleaned up nice, vanzutphen
