That's a pistol ball mold. Did you find it lying next to some other metal? For it to be that good a shape it had to have had something protecting it or acting as an in-ground electrolytic process. Or, it could have been in a pouch that eventually rotted away. That is one sweet find and extremely rare to find in that condition.

Here is one that I found that was IDed as CW era. Mine is .30 something caliber pistol round ball. Yours looks to be pistol also. Can you measure the diameter?

Muzzleloader calibers were often measured in " balls to the pound". This may be 160 to the pound which I believe would be around .32 caliber, you could measure it to see.
