Hi Everyone,

I got out for a few hours and went to my old site today.

I came up with some decent finds, like this etched triggerguard/buttplate.

Some flat buttons...

And some old lead...

I found a couple other old iron relics - still cleaning and trying to figure out what I've got.

Have a great day - I'll be at it again tomorrow.

HH,

I D, Kinda sad you don't see etching and engraving like that in newer things, but, it makes you GLAD when ya find An OLD one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's Pretty! God Bless HH Chris

very nice trigger guard...different with that design :icon_thumright:

Cool indeed, and is interesting having an arrow and Fleur De lys?

I was just reading a couple of days ago that the reason my area has maintained the Indian place names it has was mainly do to the French continuing to use them during the earlier part of our history.
