Cigar Aficionados and Cigartifacts

This thread is for anything and everything Cigars.

Do you regularly enjoy a fine cigar? What is your favorite blend?
Have you tried one or two, but didn't get the hang of it?
What's the right way to light, hold, smoke, and extinguish a stick?

Ok....what else is there?
There is a whole gamut of cigar collectibles available at yard sales, etc, that demand a premium to collectors....

Cigar tokens, boxes, posters, ashtrays, even old photographs of cigar smokers are coveted...
What's in your collection?

Share your cigartifacts, experiences, and questions here....all are welcome.

I will start with a pic of a vintage box, with my latest go-to smoke,
It's a Castiano 1929 Lonsdale it's has a Nicaraguan filler, with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper... made by Rocky Patel exclusively for the local proprietor of our "World Famous Cigar Bar", here in Ft. Myers.

Yes, pairing your smoke with a drink makes them both more enjoyable....
If you have a local cigar shop in your town, or nearest city, their proprietor will be happy to turn you on to a mild sample.... try an Oliva,... smooth and tasty.

So this is a pack i was looking at getting. sadly no cigar shops are around in my area so online is where i will have to look.
here is the list of whats in a beginner sample pack. if anyone has tried any good or bad i would be interested in hearing.
CIGARS:
1 x Hoyo de Monterrey Coronation
1 x Montecristo Open Junior
1 x Joya De Nicaragua Antano Machito
1 x Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe
1 x San Cristobal El Principle
1 x Jose L Piedra Brevas
1 x El Rey Del Mundo Choix Supreme

Quit smoking about five years ago.
Always loved an Arturo Fuentes short story.
I do build guitars out of the boxes though!

I've never seen a cigar box guitar that wasn't awesome.

Nice variety...only the Joya I've tried in the past....
Selecting cigars is like shopping for wine....thousands of choices, but you don't know if you don't try it.

Umm yeah smoking this now. IMG_0707.JPG
Is smoke 3-5 a day. I love cigars! I've got a massive humidor double cabinet. If I'm out detecting your gonna see a cigar burning!

Big Wave look up cigar.com call them and ask for Michael or An account manager. They can hook you up with prices that beat advertised rates.

Tonight I enjoyed a Rocky Patel Java Mint Drew Estate Corona....
Smooth draw, light mocha and toffee flavored. Makes for a nice smoke after a steak dinner. My pairing always seems to be Stella Artois...in a chalice of course.

I just smoked my first Acid....a Blonde Belicoso..... yummy!
I like that it's only 5 inches, takes about a half hour to enjoy. Looking into a sampler pack...
I did also pick up about 6 or 7 other sticks, mostly Rocky Patels....

smoking acid? only bad can come of it

That's the brand name...they are flavor-infused cigars.
Always knew about them, but Tnet member fmrUSMC 0844 made mention of them, glad he did! Thanks 0844!

I just had an Arturo Fuentes.... a nice stick, paired it with a Grand Marnier on the rocks...not too shabby.
