cibola with headphones

You need new headphones.

Yep. Terry is right. With good headphones on cibola will absolutely blow your ears off

Ya now which ones? Don't feel like laying more then 50 bucks on a pair.

Get the BEST you can afford. I use Killer B's because I like the quality, fit, and comfort. No hurting ears after five-hours.

I agree Killer B's. Have had a pair for 5 years now not one problem out of them.

Terry is right about the Killer B's but I like the Black Widow's by Detector Pro. Why hunt with a detector that has cheap headphones which not only don't give you the faint tones but are uncomfortable too. Plus the cheapies don't last.

It says the black widow is engineered for detectors with challenged hearing. Does this also apply to selective hearing, because my wife says I have that when she talks?

Jolly Rogers work great for me, no complaints.

Noticed today using headphones for first time that brass item would discriminate like a coin but I was barely able to hear the tone with headphones but when I unplugged the headphones the tone was loud.
IMPORTANT-Tesoro uses a stereo jack. You could have plugged mono jack headphones into the stereo jack.Mono detecting headphones are popular, but will not work on a stereo jack plug.If you realize the phones are mono -go to radio shack-get a stereo to mono adapter for the jack plug. This is most likely your problem.:-D

Spirit may have the answer for you. If not, I recommend buying high quality headphones as the sound is cleaner and crisper on all signals and, it isn't like you'll be needing to buy headphones over and over.
