This church gave me permission to hunt 3 houses they bought to expand their property. These are modern houses as such, so the finds would mainly be clad. So I woke up early this morning and headed over to house #1 to search the front yard. I ended up spending more time on this yard than I thought because coins were everywhere. There were 3 different places in this yard I would just sit down and use my pinpointer to locate the next coin. Now this isn't a very big yard by any means, but it took me all morning to cover it, and I know I left some behind. This is probably the only one of the 3 that is like this, and I happen to pick it first. The total take of the morning was 110 coins, and other odds and ends. There are a few wheat's in the batch dating in the 50's. Tomorrow I will do the back yard and see what it has to offer. It looks like I won't be doing any fields for a week or two.

No bells, but they gave me a 4th house they aquired tonigh. Got my work cut out for awhile. I'll bet there's a ring there somewhere, even if it's not in the bells.

thats alot of coin ! hope the other side holds alot for you to and goodluck ;)

That's a lot of coins for one small yard, congrats! Good luck on the rest and HH, Mike

Great haul Dave! Can't wait until you hit the beaches around there with your new detector...I see gold and silver in your future! I know you will keep us posted.

I sent my new detector back to Whites to have it thourghly checked out. I think there was a problem with the pinpointing of smaller objects, and since it is under warranty, I thought I would have them check it out. I also heard they are using different gaskets for the battery pack, and want them changed out as well. So now I have to wait a little longer.
