Stopped by one of the usual rotation spots that I am chipping away at and popped this nice chunky silver ring. No silver coins today, but the ring made up for that.
After a few holes there, we went to go check out a new potential spot on the water only accessible during low tide. There used to be homes there built in the 1890's but all that is left now are stumpy support pillars. It has been largely inaccessible for the past 75 years thanks to mudslides. I swung around some support pillars for a little bit and found this partial dial to what must have been a magnificent pocket watch at one time. The dial has gold on it. Also found a completely roached Indian Head Penny. This just tells me that there is a future here for detecting and more to be found. Got to be old silver somewhere...
