One of my employees was kind enough to let me hunt her turn of the century yard after work today. Turned out to be a decent hunt. Found the normal pile of clad, a play money quarter, 5 wheats (1912, 42,44,55,58), a oil lamp knob and a mystery silver item. My girlfriend thinks it is half of a compass compact. Looks possible to me. Any of you know what it is and a possible era? Thanks for looking!

See if any US coins fit it--might be a coin holder.

Think it's part of a ladies change holder - seem to remember seeing one of those on here before. Stick a few coins in the circles to test...

You are exactly right!
