✅ SOLVED Chunk of Missouri lead?

Found two of these in middle georgia and have no clue what it was used for. It’s solid lead roughly 6” long. I thought maybe it’s a weight for pickling food?

[FONT=&quot]Missouri was known for its lead mines and smelters. These may have been made by one of those plants.

Yeah, I think it's a lead ingot as opposed to a weight of some sort. If that's what it is it could have been used for just about anything... from transporting the lead, to plumbing, to casting bullets.
