Does it have any air pockets? Looks like a nice piece of slag glass. Glass would have air pockets.

Not sure it would be glass because of the way it fractures and the range of green colors. Wouldn't glass be a more consistent color.image.jpg

if it's as hard as you say, I would guess Nephrite, different from Jade but can have good value to some asian markets

check the thinnest edge and see if backlight makes it translucent, interlocking fibers at microscopic level will be a dead giveaway. This character also makes it extremely tough to fracture with tools. Nephrite hardness 6.5

Obsidian is glass. Obsidian is not hard enough to strike a spark. I've seen green obsidian, and it wasn't near as pretty as what
you are showing. I don't think it's obsidian, other than that, I don't know what it is, except it's darn sure pretty.

I was thinking fluorite as well, but it appears harder than fluorite. I'm leaning towards slag.
