Good morning, ACOJoe, cheffer, and I went on a quick Christmas Eve hunt at a spot that has produced a lot of silver for us. I brought my Equinox for a change and equipped the 6 inch coil hoping to find one more coin in the hard to work areas. I was pushing through some thick brush towards the end of the hunt when I finally got that tone that we all love to hear.

This 1924 standing liberty quarter was on edge in the hole but the Equinox was able to locate it with ease. Talk about a nice early Christmas gift! Merry Christmas to all, and to all some good finds!

Great way to give yourself a Christmas present!

Nice I've found one of those in all my years it's either a 1916 or 1917 great coin. Happy Holidays. Tommy

I'm still waiting to find one of those!

I seem to either get silver from 18xx, or mercury and newish dimes and quarters from the 1950-60.

So oddly missing everything from 1900-1941 other than merc dimes.

I did find a 1907 Barber dime today- but I would love to find standing and a walking.

Good job- congrats! Walking in the brush canbe worth it some times!

A very nice early Christmas present. :occasion14:

Big SLQ fan- just awesome neighbor- Congrats!

Beautiful. Love those standing libs

That’ll play. Very nice finds. Always hard to track down the elusive SLQ.

Awesome, congrats! IMO one of the finest US coin designs out there, love to find them and a good date makes it all the better. Sorry I missed your find Mike, I was way down by the tracks doing the same thing since it's the only time of year you can really work those deep thickets without picking up dozens of hitchhikers. Going back out today, still hoping for one or two more finds before the calendar turns over.

Nice job on the Standing Lib. They are a beautiful coin.

One of my favorite coins. Congrats.
