I'm somewhat new to this hobby. Started with a BH Discovery 1100, and then upgraded to an ACE 350. I have just been playing around in parks and my own yard thus far. I have found a couple Wheatie's, a 43 war nickel, and in the park I did find a 10K Diamond ring my 3rd time out with my ACE (thats what set the hook on the addiction).

Hey welcome to the addiction! There is a lot of good info on this site but don't be afraid to post a question if you aren't finding what you are looking for. I live near Martin City maybe we could get together for a hunt sometime. The weather is starting to look really good for it.

Yeah that sounds good. Martin city is right in my back yard. I try to go there atleast once a month (jack stack bbq).

Welcome to the greatest show on earth. We have a lot of fun and even find some little sparkle sometimes. I am not to far either. I am in Blue Springs. Work has kind of taken over for a while. With knowing how many people are still without jobs, I have been trying to keep this one happy. It has made alot of house payments.

Keep us posted on what you are finding. I am trying for some farm fields around Richmond, MO. But nothing yet.
