Shame there's a chip on this one, but gives a good idea of patina and age. Just about all of these were found in heavy paleo areas if that helps give any ideas. Thanks again for looking, and if anyone wants to see a full 360 on any of them just give me a holler. Thanks again for looking.

One last monster I can't believe I hauled all the way home. Pretty sure this ones just a core, unless it was used for digging by throwing the dang thing at the ground or pounding it

Thanks. A couple are from last week, but everything else was last year, including the antlers. Can't wait for them to start dropping this year, hoping to make something cool.

Can anyone pick out any definite tools opposed to cores? Some certainly have smaller workings and edges, as well as what looks to be impact fractures as if they were used as hand axes/choppers. I'm certainly no expert at differentiating between the two

Nice tools. I wonder why they had so many choppers?

I dont find that many where I hunt. I find quite a bit scrapers but they arent real big either. Even the points are usually between 1-2 inches in length.

A few looks to be choppers and the rest looks to be stone they were nocking off flakes or just seeing what was inside. cool finds:icon_thumleft:

Maybe the one on the right and ones like it? I like how they tested material with a few short whacks. Pretty picky.
