I found this piece at an old farm site last week, I'm hoping someone can tell me what it was from and it's date. :icon_scratch:
It measures exactly 3" across and is approximately 1" deep

I've looked at the edge under a loop to try to determine the metal, but can see no sign of what it might be.
It's thick and looks like it was pressed-fit into something... maybe a hub cap from a vintage tractor or a car?

Thanks,
Dave

Center cap from a vintage automotive wheel cover.

Or maybe a hub cap for a toy pedal car.

Hubcap from a baby buggy, those tabs snapped into the wheel spokes.
