Hello All,

I have been going thru withdrawl lately with the frozen ground here in CT but we had a couple of above freezing days so I decided to try and go detecting. I hit a local elementary school where I have had some luck in the past and did pretty good even with the frozen ground. Check out the video of my hunt..

As always I appreciate you looking/watching/commenting. Happy hunting.

Travis

Travis,
It's about time you got out there to dig in the frozen CT tundra. My popcorn had gone stale waiting to watch another video. :laughing7:
Way to go on the sweet silver Dude. I can't imagine how hard it was for you to dig all those coins in that frozen soil. I got out today, it was 65 degrees, and the top 2-3" was still frozen in the shade spots. :dontknow:
Thanks for the video,
Doug

Congrats on the silver and wheat and finds!

I'm glad I wasn't the only one out digging (or trying) in the frozen tundra Sunday! I only got clad, a junk ring, and blisters (wasn't wearing gloves). Had to leave quite a few targets in the frozen ground.
The wood chips at the swings past the top 2" were encased in a sheet of ice! Ended up hammering my screw driver with my digging tool into the ground, very s-l-o-w going. Back killed and hand hurt after 4 hrs., but I was happy!
