Chinese Jade Scale / Blessing Stone Or ?

Described as a blessing stone however I'm not sure if it is. Looks like a type of scale but I'm not sure on that either.
Thoughts on exactly what this is., Thanks to all in advance...........

Definitely a traditional oriental (probably Chinese) scale of the type normally referred to as a 'medicine scale'. For weighing herbal and other dried components, although of course it could be used for a variety of other things. It operates like a steelyard. Difficult to say how old it is though.
