Found this at a sale, trying to find out some more information. Judging by the patina and corrosion on the inside I believe it may be authentic, but looking for more info

1. What are the marks on the bottom? Anyone familiar with Chinese makers/dates?
2. Incense burner? I believe it based on the holes and some residue inside.
3. I think its missing the lid with the head of the dragon?
4. think it's authentic or reproduction?

Thanks for looking and venturing a guess.

Ok I think I have the translation, thanks to a Chinese friend

from top to bottom, left to right

Ming Dinasty
Xuande Emperor
1399-1435 (that last part probably doesn't translate as date but his reign)

anyway, any guesses on authenticity?

Thanks

Wow I believe that's it DCMatt. The only difference besides the missing head is mine has holes and that picture does not.

Where did you link it from? Did the site have any more info?

Thanks

I found this one. Similar with holes. Maybe your friend could translate the website for you. jd.cang.com/397576.html

Actually if you use Google Chrome, it will translate it for you, although it will be a bit off. Not much said on that site about it except nice item, etc.
