Picked this up at a GoodWill store today and wondered if anyone can read the name
on the bottom or know something about these double happy jars.
I figured that this was made for export as the "made in China" written in English pretty much gives it away. Guessing it's pretty common as there are quite a few on the auction sites from different periods. Any help would be appreciated and thanks!

Jar is 9-1/2 inches tall and about 8 inches wide.

You are right, regular commercial item.

This is an old post but I happened to come across it. The Chinese character on the vase is 囍 xi which translates into double happiness(it is two 喜). It's a symbol of good luck especially in marriage. I've included a photo of a package of cigarettes usually given out during wedding receptions in China.
