After looking over a stash of foreign coins I had obtained last year, I noticed a coin that I could not completely identify. And while I examined it, and searched online for any info on it, I noticed an error on the coin! Chinese writing in the beaded circle that should be clear of any inscriptions. The coin is also pressed slightly off center. One side says 10 cents Kwang-Tung Province. The other side has chinese writing. It weighs 2.6grams, is silver in color, and is the size of a dime.

I saw some similar coins on ebay, but nothing exactly like this one. Does anyone know anything about this coin? what year? what it may be worth with no errors, and what it may be worth with the error?

I don't know if it's genuine, or if it's an error... But I think it's an early 1900s (Pre 1930s) coin.

You're right - This coin is from Kwantung province, dated 1913. Its value is about $5, and is made of 2.7 gr of Silver. Haven't seen error coins, but the "error" part is indeed a Chinese characteristic desing, so its possible. Could be really good! Congrats!
