Oldest coin I’ve found yet (with the exception of all the Chinese coins I’ve never took the time to identify.)

Pretty good shape for the age.
Did not realize that Chinese coins can be valuable. Going to have to check out some others.
This one looks like it sells for about $10, which actually is more than some older US coins.

This one looks like it sells for about $10, which actually is more than some older US coins.

Specifically your coin is DH#22.223 (DH is the Hartill catalog reference which is sort of the go to book for these coins). Minted 1782-1795. As far as value it's not $10 unfortunately. Any that go for $10 are either overpriced or may be Shanlongs, which are similar but have a slightly different character at the bottom and were issued after the emperor died as a commemorative for him.
