Given the fine narrow style characters I am betting it is likely a modern repro....there are hundreds of thousands of repro's.....and just as many "authentic",ones,but the craft/novelty repro's kind of have a "look",which...too me,yours does

Thanks!! Repros produced in 1970s? I am thinking that was when they were in that region, when were the originals circulated? this is another I can't figure out.

Many of the originals date to the 15-1600's,quite commonly actually.....unfortunatly even they arent usually worth a whole lot,but I have dug a couple rare ones that are around $100 each(but thats out of probably 500(?)...I have dug)

It is a 1974 Taiwan 1 yuan, worth about 10 cents.
