I care. If this keeps up, a few mistakes by the oil industry can result in the worldwide death of our oceans. Can you imagine the Gulf of Mexico if three more of these wells had blown during this present catastrophe? Too much!
If the accident in the Yellow Sea happened like that, it would spell worldwide trouble. There's not enough chopsticks in China to pick it up with...

At the end of the day - what we the public get to read - is still just 'propaganda', of one form or another & the REAL skill remains in being able to "read between the lines", and decipher whether any real truth exists in ANY of our news sources in my opinion and experience.

I mean, in all sincerity, and I also mean this with no disrespect....but the facts quite simply are, that the education standard, in the USA these days is deliberately dumbed down....by deliberate design (more on that in a moment) to the point that I don't know that your in any privileged position, to be able to tell me, what represents "truth or otherwise" - since 'truth' has become such a pretty rare commodity, in your country, these last 100 or so years.

Not so recently, MOST Americans, believed in weapons of mass disappearance in Iraq!

Also that Saddam brought down the twin towers!

Ohh - hang on thats right - a towel headed camel jockey, living somewhere in a cave in Tora Bora with his donkey, brought down the entire two world trade centers (and WTC 7) with a couple airplanes, and that there was no "nation state involvement"...

Uhhm - they also believed in the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, They believed that the Liberty was attacked by Israel by accident (despite the fact it was flying the US Flag and radioing its country of origin throughout the attacks), etc etc etc.

Quite simply - your Government couldn't tell the truth if their very life depended on it and Americans generally don't possess the collective intelligence to blow snot out their nose if their brains were dynomite when it comes to deciphering real truth any more!

Now it grieves me to have to say that, but history proves me right (and i could well have quoted so many more examples to prove the point).

Pearl Harbor was a dastardly sneak attack by those Japanese - remember?

In July 1941, President Roosevelt signed an embargo to stop all shipping to Japan, presumably in retaliation for the recent Japanese invasion of French Indo-china. The Roosevelts and the Rockefellers had long had friendly family ties. Roosevelt's US embargo cut off the Japanese oil supply, which would have quickly shut down Japan, with the obvious result. In late November 1941 the Japanese sent a written "war warning" through diplomatic channels to Washington, declaring the embargo should be stopped, or else many American sites in the Pacific would be attacked in retaliation. That formal diplomatic warning was ignored and the US sent back no reply. Just two weeks later the Japanese broke the embargo, by bombing the American embargo ships parked in Pearl Harbor.
It was no surprise attack. The Japanese had formally announced it two weeks before. It was only the obvious result of the American strangulation of the oil flow to Japan, and a clearly stated Japanese warning which had been received and ignored. The American public had been fooled into thinking it was a sneak surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Since Franklin Roosevelt said so, it must be true. The Pacific war turned out to be a prolonged aircraft carrier war. Strangely, the US aircraft carriers in the Pacific Fleet had been sent on maneuvers just several days before the attack and none were in Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941.
Coincidence?

So just how stupid are the American public?

Their own Peoples President in JFK was assassinated with a magic bullet that changed direction 3 times and wounded a second person according to the Warren commission report - yet the American public are happy to accept that....

In short the Americans are pretty damn stupid when it all boils down - unquestioning absolute idiots, when it comes to believing whatever propaganda their administration feeds them.

Whats really sad - is that the "dumbing down" of the US public is by intelligent design - something deliberately embarked upon in order to assist the destruction of the country from within that we now see in full swing.

This small extract tells how and why & by whom this has been deliberately done.

Fascism in America is not only alive and well, but is a thriving mainstream growth industry. It has been entrenched in the center of the US Federal government since the founding of the Federal Reserve System in 1913 and controls the US economy. With the creation of the US Department of Education in the 1970's, instruction in the "fascist oil company plan" has taken over all state and local education systems and reached its goal about 15 years ago with the introduction of what is called the "Goals 2000" program. Ever wonder why it was called "Goals 2000"?
That program was produced and pushed through congress by something called the General Education Board. The plan of the Goals 2000 program is to divide children from parents, prevent any reasonable education that would produce children who might ask who really runs the world, and foment division among racial groups through diversity training, along with a healthy dose of oil company environmentalism. This almost exact same education plan was used by Adolf Hitler in the 1930's and 40's in his Hitler Youth movement. It later was adopted by Stalin in the 1950's and Fidel Castro in the ‘60s. It can now be found in many countries.
The Diversity training in the new curriculum is similar to the German "racial hygiene," or awareness of racial differences, which was based on the earlier "eugenics" movement that started in the US and was made into law in most of the states starting with South Dakota in the 1920's.
And from where did Adolph Hitler get his education plan? And where did Stalin and Castro get their education plans? And now even the education plans being sent worldwide by the United Nations through UNICEF and UNESCO? They all got them from the working papers written by the General Education Board, founded in 1905 by John D. Rockefeller. Almost all textbooks in American schools now say at the bottom of the inside cover, "Approved by the General Education Board." Now you know who they are and what has happened to the American education system.
The federal government through the Department of Education, which provides no education nor instruction, has done nothing in the last 30 years to improve education in the US. Multiple billions of US dollars have been spent, not to improve academic achievement, which has seriously declined, but to ensure the complete and proper implementation of the fascist oil General Education Plan in every state and local school district throughout the nation. Most of the money is spent on overcoming the great resistance of both teachers and parents who don't like what they see in the Goals 2000 plan. John D. Rockefeller would be proud of his achievement, and it didn't cost him a nickel. He got the taxpayers to pay for it.

I put it to you AN - that whilst your question was well intentioned - that in all likelihood - you would not be in any position to know what is truth and what is lies in this world today, thus your question to me about what i might or might not "believe" (to be truth) is moot - because it's unlikely we would be talking from the same frame of reference.

I make a conscious study of trying to deliberately ascertain - what LIES (read propaganda from one side or another) we are being fed by our mainstream press today, and to "read intelligently between the lines" to get a handle on where the truth of the matter really lies.

It seems to be a skill, sadly pretty much lost in mainstream USA - making any intelligent discussion with her unquestioning citizens these days, often tedious and sometimes even pointless.

Perhaps you can enlighten me AN, as to what particular 'reality construct', makes up your particular frame of reference of reality (truth), from which you would apparently presume the moral & intellectual superiority position to even question, what my particular beliefs system of reality is?

It's something pretty atypical of the self assumed 'superior intellect' of the quintessential "Ugly American" of which most of the rest of the world these days have pretty much had a gut full.

I'm as always prepared to indulge you -in whatever you personally might choose to believe or not.... for that's the free will given to ALL of us, by our creator, to allow us the freedom of will to choose, what it is we want to believe as our own reality (truth).

What I find hardest to believe, is that 10 years on - after 9/11, the entire might of the USA, with her global reach, cannot locate this one single towel headed camel jockey, who single handedly brought down the two WTC's, (and lets not forget WTC 7 as well that was never hit by any plane at all but somehow just mysteriously 'collapsed' of it's own accord) from his hidely hole in his cave that he shares with his donkey in Tora Bora!

I think the whole world these days realises AN, that the almighty USA military & intelligence community, couldn't find the proverbial cheeks of its own butt with both hands with the lights on, even if provided a mirror and seeing eye dog!

I respectfully suggest that - I am probably in a much better position to know what to choose to believe (or not) than you might ever imagine.

It would appear John D sure as hell got his "taxpayers moneys worth" with his 'education boards goals 2000 project' from everything recent history in America and elsewhere has shown the world AN.

Hows about - you presume to know & set out to tell me, just what elements of the posted article, are "true" (or otherwise) from YOUR particular reality point of view AN?.

I'm all ears - I REALLY would just LOVE to hear something about that, from an obvious product of the US education system owned by John D since 1905.

I know you'll likely do a 'internet search' on the what does it mean "propaganda" website, and when you do in support of your position, please be honest about it, and include ALL of the possibilities, i.e. don't cherry pick to suit your point of view, but be truthful & include ALL the results you turn up - including those that it hangs off the same internet backbone as the See Eye Ehs Computer systems ISP in Langley Virginia! (Or that it's purported author one David Booth is a purported brother of the claimed 'Sisters of Scorch Faal' author, and that he's either See eye eh, or Ohh Enn Eye etc etc).

I'm intrigued to know this apparent 'truth' you claim to be the proud possessor of AN!
