Howdy Folks. Revising my original rant. I hit a wooded hillside to recover a few cool old items. The lead Indian was in a hole deep with an iron square nail. Found several iron rings to various wooden barrels I believe. The Cracker Jack Token is circa 1933 as I found one earlier in the field near here. Got a really cute domed flat button. Solid brass ring and some horse tack rivets. The long strap thing is a piece of lead. The smashed tin was void of any treasure as usual with my tin containers. The ground was thawed for easy digging. Clearing the way for some older coins I hope. Thanks for the support. Kurios1

pretty awesome pile of loot, relic city for sure and some very nice and cool ones to boot. yeah, the electronics can be awesome and then a royal pain. hope it gets better for you with the electronics, you seem to be doing fine with the detecting

Let's see...a VERY unusual Cracker Jack toy, square nails from the 1800's, a very cool Presidential token (NONE of which I've ever found), an old button, and old buckle....YEP! That's an awesome day in my book! With the exception of the metal ends of the pencil erasers (I KNOW I have more of those), you have bested me. Well done!

Well done K1. I really like the lead toy Indian. For some reason, lead toy figures are one of my favorite finds.

I believe yours is made by Lincoln Logs, but I’m not sure. Perhaps Subterranean will stop by and confirm the ID. He is the expert of lead toy soldiers.

Good luck brother!

Nice finds, love those tokens and lead toys

Cool Chief toy, and token, two keepers for sure.
Best of luck on your computer problems-it can be frustrating when things aren't working right.

Way to go Kurious. Looks like your off and running. Congrats on some nice finds. I like that lead Indian toy, and the Cracker Jack tokens are always nice to find.

That lead toy Indian would definitely make my day! Love finding those old lead toys. Thanks for sharing!!

I love the Indian Kurios!!! It is better to be out hunting than messing with technology. Hopefully you will find something worth big bucks and can upgrade or vacation!!! Great token!!

The internet may be messed up, and posting may be difficult, but the results of your treasure hunting is definitely on the money.
Congrats on some sweet finds.

K1, Your Chief may or may not be marked on the bottom of the base, "Made in England." I am reasonably sure he was made by John Hill Company (Johillco) OR Crescent, both of England. Molds were usually bought by competitors from factories going out of business. He probably dates from 1900-1955. If one toy soldier was found, there are probably more there, as many of our fellow T-Netters can attest. Here is what he looked like when brand new. Cheers, Sub 8-)

Very nice lead figeruine and I like the token, ground looks soft so your not having to blast your way to a target!
