CHEWED LEAD?

[ROBERTDRIGGERS]

is this a spent or chewed musket round? found it on an old Army Fort dating from the 1840's to 1940's. its soft lead and about 9 grams. It has a chalky white patina (i wetted it with water to bring out the details). i have found other militaria on the site-thanks

that would fit the time frame as i have found a mini ball around the same area...thanks!

Might have been chewed on by hogs. Lead tastes sweet, so hogs will chew on it.
