Do your magic guys. Much appreciated as always.

Found them at the old turn of the century homestead that I will assume was abandoned during the Dust Bowl era in the 30s to 40s.

Chevrolet emblem made of copper (I think)....

Some mystery mini alien helmet my wife found....(leather working tool?)

And some mystery item I have no clue about with holes all through it...(something to form shoes or hats with?)

Your "eight holed" piece could be off of an eight stringed mandolin banjo or guitar...:icon_scratch: Great Dust Bowl era finds! Sub 8-)

Cool find. Years ago I found a 28' Chevy winged wheel mascot in an antique mall. It cost me $90.00 and I decided to ebay it and it sold for over $300. I'm kind of sad I sold that thing :( I found out after I bought it that it wasn't ever installed on any 28' Chevy's coming off the assembly line, but sold as an additional replacement option at the Chevy dealerships. They were kind of rare.

Could be! I really have no idea on that last piece. Did find a C# chord from a pump organ at the same site...so maybe a house of musicians? Thank you for replying Sub.

Hell of a story Tamrock...at least you made some decent profit. That thing looks sweet. I too would be have regretted selling it after finding that info out.

Never knew Chevy had the winged emblem....seen the flags on Corvettes and stuff....but never these wings. Reminds me of the old Texaco logo.

I think Sub is correct. It looks to be a mandolin tailpiece.

Awesome...a mandolin tailpiece. So that and the pump organ were at this location. I think I need to break out some big shovels and a sift screen soon.....

I really appreciate you guys! Thank you so much for the info and your time.
