chert nodule from limestone bed

there is a washout W/ white clay I have been eying for awhile. Stopped to chk it out & found these. I love odd formations, so I had to keep these. I have found them in all sorts of matrix but I really liked this outcrop. will be collecting the clay for firing.
last pic shows what is in nodule. Looks like a universe to me.
