I had gone almost all the way through the NFS wrapped rolls and it had been a complete skunk up to the last 6 rolls.
I opened one of them and noted a bent up, odd looking edge. I could not tell immediately if it was modern or not.
I pulled the bent coin from the opened roll and to my surprise it was a 1883 Seated Liberty. I think whoopee was at least one of the things I said.
Admittedly, it is not in excellent shape but the words United States of America are easily readable and the lady liberty, though well worn is easily identified.
The reverse is in worse shape, but you can see the wreath and make out Dime on it.
I will try to photograph it tonight and post a shot.
I have found an 1883 indian while CRH, but this is my oldest find in dimes. Made for a happy day.
