Check this ghost video out.

That is one weird video. :o I have never seen anything like that before. Thanks for posting that :icon_thumleft:

It's a good thing that cop had a dash cam in his patrol car. Otherwise, he'd been ordered to pee in a bottle when he filed his report. :laughing7:

it shows the taillights on the otherside of the fence

Well, that new T.V. program, Fact or Fiction, (or whatever it's name is) on SciFi Channel has proven how this was done. It is not paranormal. The fence was just hanging from it's top bar so that when the car hit it,it slid over the top of the car and dropped back down into position in just a second or two. They had a stunt driver driving a car the same size and they reproduced the "ghost video" perfectly.

THIS one was debunked, but some of their investigations have left some other things un-debunked.

Sorry, but, there IS indeed a logical explanation. As the other poster said, it was re-created on one of my favorite new shows "Fact or Faked". For any of you who haven't seen the show, it is PHENOMENAL!!!

Try and watch the "ghost car" episode online or when it re-runs to see how the video is not what it seems

The show receives and reviews videos online, sent in from everyday folks, etc. that claim to show UFO's, the unexplained, psychic phenomenon, strange creature and so on. They then have their team go in and try to re-create the videos through special FX, editing, trickery, etc. Many are actually de-bunked. But, there is virtually no staging or phony drama involved in the show. Kinda like a Mythbusters for the paranormal

I don't think they wanted to debunk the Paulding Lights.
Too much Money coming in from Visitors

That was obvious the Light was from over the Horizon.
just like stars Twinkle, The Light Magnified from
the angle.
They needed to travel over the tree line
not out the Path.

Same as the second one it was a Visual Effect.

The car being pushed up the hill by
ghosts needed to be put to rest.

Somone would have gotten killed there for real.

Not sure if I agree with you Jeff. Why in the world would the show care if the town lost revenue if the myth was debunked?!?! They wouldn't!!!

It doesn't mean that the light was a ghost, UFO, etc. Just, it is now classified as unexplained. BTW, I have NEVER known a light to "twinkle" that way. Or a star either for that matter.

I personally think they go above and beyond in what little time they have to actually put these videos to the test. Is it a perfect science? Absolutely not. However, when one considers that they actually DO debunk more than half the entries, you're left with the feeling that try try to cover as many bases as possible.

One of the many reasons I enjoy the show is the lack of drama or staging. If they hear a branch snap they don't go running through the woods yelling spirit. They are thorough, professional and approach each new myth with an open mind.

Jeff, on the Paulding Light, the investigators DID go out on that highway with their car and checked if the headlights could be seen. Also, before that, two of them rode a 4-wheeler on that right of way road and were on the hill when the light appeared to their observer back at the viewing spot. The two out on the hill could NOT see anything of the light in ANY direction. That one was prove a true unknown.

The one episode that I didn't agree with was the cow mutilation spot. They were wrong on that one mainly because it seemed to me that they allowed that local "doctor" to lead them to their final "conclusion" which was wrong.

The woman named Jael was the side kick of Josh Gates on that other investigative program where he and his team travel all over the world doing these types of investigations. I'd like to know how THAT little arrangement came about. She left the other show and is now on another one just like it, but on a different channel. :icon_scratch:
