Gave me a great idea too... The crutch with handle she is using, I've seen before in thrift stores.Would make a great shaft (Straight shafts with handle!!!)for any detector.I noticed to when I detect on hills and rocky places I tend to use the MD as a crutch sometime.. RD

Yep.... I tend to complain a lot about back problems and stuff(I worked my-a-off etc......)but, I'm fine...... if I'm metal detecting!I thank God I can do some of the things I love while I still can.

That picture is helping me to go out tomorrow, in 110 heat and kick nature in the A......
So I can try to find that NUGGET!!! That picture came out of a Garret's metal detecting book FYI. RD
