Put this in rocks n gems with only one response so thought I try here and see if I could get some help with what I have found.I live in the upstate of SC and getting a bucket of dirt to do some gold panning with when i got back home from a small creek near my house and after screening the 'trash' down I started seeing these and started picking them up.I'm hoping someone could tell me what they are.Thanks for any help or info.Sorry about the 2nd pic

Looks like chrysocolla or some kind of copper specimen.

I too live in the Upstate of SC. I have a creek that runs by my house where the kids find colored rocks, at least that's what I always thought they were. Tony
