Does anyone know if there is gold bearing bedrock in this river running thru Douglas County?

I know there are many south of Douglasville. Are there any reports of there being gold found in Douglasville?
I think you have to move further east. The ETOWAH River is a good producer in the Dawsonville, Dahlonega area,,, There are many access points under bridges where tubers launch If you seek more info PM meHere's tip for Georgia...
Look at this picture...
See the area that looks "rippled"...
I often pinch / squish the skin on the back of my hand together to create the same look as an example.
When you see this... you will most likely find gold in GA.
Look at Dahlonega, Cleveland, and other proven areas, you'll see the same thing.
