Charlie Carlson, author of WEIRD FLORIDA, STRANGE FLORIDA, and actor in CURSE OF THE BLAIR WITCH and his WEIRD FLORIDA TV show, has moved on to the spirit world by a circus themed funeral today.
Carlson's project was a movie adaptation of his book, ASHLEY'S SHADOW, about an unsolved 1940's Florida murder and a haunting that followed.
Charlie, a 10th generation Floridian, gave my wife and I and friends a private ghost tour of St Augustine, including the Castillo de San Marcos, where one of his ancestors was once imprisoned.
Charlie will be missed by many.
