Hello all,
This is the best site to learn more about finds. These are from a 1907 site with a mixture of old and new.
I am curious about the chain with a circular ring on each end. It is 25.5 inches end to end.
The other chain has a hook at each end and measures 9.5 inches end to end.
The rectangular buckle looking piece is not a buckle as the iron piece protruding left is all one solid piece. Not sure what this is.
The second piece at the top looks like the back end and feet of a piggy bank...but it must have been empty [emoji19]. BTW what metal turns blue? zinc?
The red white and blue piece looked like a battery but I don’t think it is and is wrapped with a piece of wire...another odd unlinked but looks more modern.
The two individual circles of metal looked like pieces of copper pipe, but the are attracted to a magnet..Also not equal in size.
I have contacted Root supplier to inquire about possible connection to the can opener.
Also got a mixture of coins and several scout neckerchief ties. It was a fun hunt..
Thanks for looking. Happy hunting!
