Ceramic (tobacco) pipe?? Piece of a statue?

Found at site of mid-1800s house, but the site's been occupied since the late 1700s. Have mostly found coins and artifacts from late 1800s on.

I would think you could rule out a pipe if theres no hole in the stem.

That is an intriguing find. This was 2nd Seminole war era (1835-1842), and may have been made well earlier as not many changes. Here is an example of one I found.View attachment 1894388View attachment 1894389
