Cellar scouting nabs me a Spanish silver and relics

Got out scouting a huge piece of land its gotta be 2000 or more acres

Im trying to find a cellar hole thats way out but cannot seem to nail it

I have hit many cellars at the front side of the parcel but came across some more..Thats like 10 cellars so far.
They have been hit but not hard and i believe this one that is hiding may be a virgin site..

Got my first holed Spanish silver...And my first 19th century one all my others are 18th century..

An old fishing reel..

A strange square button that looks modern but this cellar is not even on the 1870 map

Wagon tag for New york..

Some early colonial pewter..

The season is just getting started its gonna be a killer year

Impressive post, pics, & finds JB!!! You are definitely "Colonel Cellar" on Tnet. Like the coin. Although some were holed to be worn around the neck, I was told by a VA guy that they were holed so they could be strung on a wire to prevent loss. WTG, Q.

Nice fishin hole. The reel & reale are sweet. What a beautiful site, it reminds me of all the spots I roamed as a boy in Conneticut. I did not metal detect back then I was a bottle digger but the old cellar holes are a callin...
