Hi all,
Hit a cellar hole with my hunting partner yesterday morning.I picked up a AT Pro a little while back and wanted to try out the 5x8 coil in some heavy iron.We were not there more than 5 minutes or so and I get a 78 on the vdi.Dug down 4-5 inches and out comes a small silver coin.Shook off the mud and it's a seated half dime from 1854 with arrows! This is my first seated half dime I have dug ever.Picked up a few cool iron relics also.It was a good way to burn a Saturday morning!HH Tom image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Very nice half dime

That is so awesome and it's in really nice condition!

Another really clean 159 year old coin pulled from the ground...There have been some great finds of late, on this site, of old silver in good shape and this is one of them.

Very nice find

Great Half Dime! I just got my first last weekend, but I nailed mine with the shovel Yours looks great!

Sa-weet! Congrats on an awesome find, I would love to find one.

Love half dimes!!! they are beautiful and special coins. You can easily understand how they were dropped and lost in the days before mowers and weed cutting was common.Have found maybe 7 silver 3-cent pieces now thats a even kooler tiny silver coin! nice find my friend!!!"the best is yet to come"

Very nice looking piece of silver.

Congrats on the seated!!
