Finally got a chance to go back, here's what I found. The knife says Sheffield plate on the back, can't figure out the age.I don't know what the small spoon is or what its made of. The U S plate appears to be gold on one side with metal on the back. I don't know what the round buckle would be used for. Lot of unknowns but a productive day overall.

Very cool finds!

It does look like the buckle.I was thinking brass, the only reason I questioned it was the metal was soft enough to dent.I've found brass items before and haven't seen that.

The knife is a butter serving knife.
The plate that says us is a belt buckle. Turn it over and see whats on the back.

The round ring with the pin is a belt buckle. The object to the left could either be a stirrup or possibly a sword guard.

I can see where it would be connected on the back.I can't find the pattern on the knife anywhere, could you estimate how old it is?

I have no idea on the age of the butter knife. Perhaps someone who knows silverware better can date it but without any markings i doubt they can.
