Been doing some exploring lately...found 5 foundations in a row that were along an old road. Area has been pretty flooded by the river, so the good stuff is deep. I've only detected this area twice and with so much ground to cover it's gonna take a while to do it all. Did manage to find a 1906 IH and some other things.Anyone have any idea what the round doorknob looking thing is?
Took some pics and a video of some of the cellar holes...2 of them have circular cellar off to the side...almost like a well but much wider and shallower. I'm thinking storage fridge? let me know if anyone has any ideas.
Hopefully I can find some oldies! To my south there is a 1720's ferry crossing and to my north was a known 1820s site so I'm hoping to find stuff from inbetween those time periods.

nice find.....circular pits might have been shallow wells
